About Me
I am a Certified Functional and Nutritional Medicine Practitioner from the American Academy of Functional Health. With 6 years of previous experience as a cardiac RN, I have always had a passion for the health of others. I left my career to raise my children and pursue my passions of homegrown food and natural remedies.
When my youngest son became very sick, I spent months taking him to specialists that could not give me answers for his symptoms. I wanted to know why and treat the root cause of his illness. I was not aware of Functional Medicine, but I was lead to seek help from a Functional Medicine Practitioner. I felt that she had all the answers I was searching for. As I shared the knowledge of my son's condition and his care with others, I knew this was how I wanted to continue my career.
